What you’ll do
- Greet guests and take orders at the counter, drive-thru speaker and window, repeating each order back
- Handle cash, card and mobile payments accurately, and keep your drawer balanced
- Cook, assemble and wrap menu items to our build charts and hold times
- Check that every bag and tray has the right items, sauces and napkins before it goes out
- Run the fryer and grill using timers, and throw out food that's past its hold time
- Clean tables, floors, restrooms and the drink station on a set rotation through the shift
- Restock cups, lids, condiments and packaging before they run out
- Follow handwashing, glove use and allergen procedures every time
What we’re looking for
- Friendly and polite with guests, including when an order goes wrong
- Able to learn several stations and switch between them when it gets busy
- Able to stand for a full shift, work near fryers and grills, and lift boxes up to 30 lbs
- Reliable attendance and on time for every scheduled shift
- Willing to get a food handler card if our county or state requires one
Nice to have
- Previous fast food, café or cashier experience
- Comfortable taking drive-thru orders on a headset while handling payments
- Available for opening or late-night shifts

Tips for hiring a crew member
- Hire for attitude and availability. Every station can be trained, but a friendly manner and showing up on time are hard to teach.
- If you hire teens, check federal and state child labor rules first. They limit the hours minors can work and some equipment they can use, such as meat slicers.
- Call promising applicants back the same day. Hourly job seekers often take the first offer they get.
- Put a hiring QR code at your counter and drive-thru window. Regular customers and their friends often make good crew members.
