What you’ll do
- Perform manicures, pedicures, polish changes and gel polish services
- Apply and fill acrylic, dip and hard gel enhancements, and remove them safely
- Create nail art, from simple accent nails to detailed hand-painted designs
- Clean and disinfect implements and pedicure tubs between every client as our state requires
- Check hands and feet before each service and decline services when you see signs of infection
- Recommend cuticle oil, polish and home care so clients' nails last longer
- Use ventilation and protective gear when working with dusts and strong-smelling products
- Rebook clients and note their preferred shapes, lengths and colors
What we’re looking for
- Current nail technician or manicurist license, as required by our state
- Skilled in manicures, pedicures and at least one enhancement system, such as acrylic or gel
- Strict about sanitation and safe product handling
- Steady, precise detail work and patience with intricate designs
- Friendly, attentive manner and good communication with clients
Nice to have
- A portfolio of your nail art and enhancement work
- Skilled with an electric file for prep, fills and removal
- Regular clients who would follow you to our salon
Schedule
