Warehouse Associate job description template
Warehouse associates receive, store, pick and ship the products your business runs on, and their accuracy shows up in every order your customers get. A good post spells out the shift, how much lifting is involved and what equipment they'll use, such as pallet jacks or handheld scanners.

Tips for hiring a warehouse associate
- Add a short hands-on test, such as picking five items from a list and packing one order, to see how carefully candidates work.
- Be specific in the post about lifting, building temperature and shift times. A clear picture up front cuts down on early quits.
- Ask references about attendance and accuracy, which matter more in this role than years of prior warehouse experience.
- Ask your current crew for referrals. Good warehouse workers often know others who are looking.
