Your Company is hiring a marketing coordinator to help more people discover and choose us. You'll plan and send email campaigns, create social media posts and simple graphics, keep our website current and track what's working. You'll work closely with our owner to turn ideas into finished campaigns on schedule. If you're creative, organized and curious about what makes customers respond, we'd love to see your work.

What you’ll do

  • Track results in Google Analytics and our email platform, and share a short monthly summary
  • Help run paid ads on Google or Meta within an agreed budget

What we’re looking for

  • Strong writing skills, with an eye for clear, error-free copy
  • Experience creating marketing content for a business, nonprofit or your own projects
  • Comfortable with Canva or similar design tools
  • Organized enough to manage several campaigns and deadlines at once
  • Working knowledge of email marketing, social media and website analytics

Nice to have

  • Experience with Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager
  • Website editing experience in WordPress, Squarespace, Wix or Shopify
  • Photography or short-form video skills

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday during business hours, with an occasional evening or weekend for events or launches.

What we offer

  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Some remote work days once you're settled in
  • Paid time for training, such as Google Skillshop or HubSpot Academy courses
  • Creative ownership of real campaigns from start to finish

  2. If you had a very small budget to promote our business this month, what would you do first?
  3. How do you decide whether an email campaign worked?
  4. How do you organize your work when several campaigns have overlapping deadlines?
  5. What's a small business whose marketing you admire, and why?

Tips for hiring a marketing coordinator

  • Ask every applicant for work samples. Real emails, posts or flyers tell you more than a résumé.
  • Give finalists a short paid project, like drafting a promotional email and a matching flyer for an upcoming offer.
  • Be clear about how the job splits between writing, design, social media and ads, since few people are equally strong at all of them.
  • Ask candidates to explain the results of their past work, not just show attractive designs.
